This Truth Unit aims to teach students ways to think critically - real ways to find the what is true across the community and the internet. This is a very important skill in todays world with social media and influencers having so much influence on information.

To Start the Unit:

- Download the Slideshow. It is in Google Slides format.
- Download the Teacher Guide. This guide includes:
- Explanations/Summaries of each slide for teachers
- Narration Suggestions - what you can say to present each slide
- Open-ended Questions - questions you can ask to assess understanding
- Class activities linked to the slides and to the student Worksheet aimed at engaging your class in the concepts
- Download the Student Worksheet - it includes a slide guide and all of the activities that ar elinked to your Teacher Guide.Β
- Have the students complete the class activities as they follow you through your presentation.
- In some Units there will be extra activities that you can downloadΒ
