When we feel empty or lost, it is often a sign that our spirit needs attention. Spiritual self-care is how we restore our connection to ourselves, our community, and the Creator. This unit aims to illustrate ways that students can do connect to their spiritual self.

Narration Suggestions - what you can say to present each slide
Open-ended Questions - questions you can ask to assess understanding
Class activities linked to the slides and to the student Worksheet aimed at engaging your class in the concepts
Download the Student Worksheet - it includes a slide guide and all of the activities that ar elinked to your Teacher Guide.
Have the students complete the class activities as they follow you through your presentation.

This 3-week exploration invites students to discover what spiritual self-care means to them personally while strengthening connections to their families and community knowledge keepers.
Rather than following a set schedule, they will experiment with different practices, track what resonates with their spirit, and learn from those who have walked this path before them.
